His journey began in technology, evolving into a passion for cybersecurity. He specializes in offensive cybersecurity and ethical hacking, focusing on safeguarding critical data. He prioritizes continuous learning and maintaining work-life balance, enjoying life in Mojácar when he’s not working.

Cristina Costache

With over 20 years under her belt as a professional Cristina has extensive experience in planning, developing and executing strategies in legal, privacy, information governance and security, aimed to ensure maximum alignment with the business objectives. Cristina joined Noventiq in May 2021 as Global Data Protection Officer. In her current function she is responsible for the planning and implementation of the data protection and information security strategy in Noventiq, coordinating the privacy and security compliance operations for the entire group, in 60+ jurisdictions.

Javier Sánchez Salas

Javier is a CISO with over 15 years’ cyber security experience, in multinational consulting companies and projects in different private sector markets. Passionate about new technologies and with multidisciplinary training and experience, he participates very actively in different Cybersecurity workshops and forums.

Carlos Luque Dengra

Carlos Luque Dengra has extensive experience in cybersecurity and project management, currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity (CISO) at Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) since 2002, where responsibilities include directing the cybersecurity service and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Carlos has also held various roles at TMB, including Director of Projects, where management of complex and multidisciplinary projects is key, and other positions focusing on ticketing technology and bus operation systems.

Mikel Salazar Peña

Cyber Security Director for Spain and Portugal

Mikel Salazar Peña is the Cybersecurity Director for Spain & Portugal at DXC Technology, with certifications including CCISO, CISM, and PMP. He has held a leadership role for over a decade in identity management, insider threat mitigation, and Zero Trust architectures. Mikel is also a thought leader, contributing to publications on cyber-talent development and purpose-driven leadership.

Andrés Parro Olivera

Andrés Parro Olivera is the Managing Director of Cybersecurity at FTI Consulting Spain, bringing over 11 years of expertise. He has led global cyber-incident readiness, designed response playbooks, and run cyber crisis simulations for boards and senior executives. He previously ran Global Cyber Incident Management at Banco Santander

David Corral Morgadez

Global IT & Digital Infrastructures & Operations Director

A Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IE Business School and a Master’s degree in Information Security Management from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. He is certified as a Global Industrial Cybersecurity Professional (GICSP) by SANS.

Javier Sevillano is an IT specialist with more than 30 years of experience in cybersecurity and information security. In May 2025, he joined Iberlayer as CyberLab Director. He has worked at McDonnell Douglas, Servicios Informáticos de las Cajas de Ahorro, Sistema 4B, Caja Madrid, and more recently at Bankia and Vodafone.

Karen Gaines is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with 23+ years of international experience. She has held senior roles at Microsoft and AWS, and was appointed Global Head of Cyber-Defense at Siemens, leading over 150 experts. She currently serves as Partner for Cybersecurity Services at KPMG and Vice President of Cyber-Resilience at Kyndryl.

Daniel Sierra Saavedra is a seasoned cybersecurity leader and the Head of Advanced Cyber Defence at Sabadell Digital. He brings over a decade of expertise in cyber intelligence, having developed and managed SOC structures for large financial institutions. Daniel has spoken at major European conferences about threat detection, incident response, and SOC architecture.

Juan Jose Nombela

Juan José Nombela is a cybersecurity veteran with over 25 years of experience in IT and information security, having held key roles at AT&T, Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, and G+D Mobile Security. He is Secretary of ISACA’s Madrid Chapter and Vice President of the Spanish Security & Crisis Management Alliance.
